Art Department Assistant, Sci-Fi Thriller Feature

A visceral sci-fi thriller exploring what happens when memory becomes currency needs a talented Art Department Assistant. This independent production, a feature film, is seeking a motivated individual to support our production designer and art director in bringing our unique vision to life. You'll be crucial in sourcing props, dressing sets, assisting with fabrication, and maintaining continuity across various futuristic and gritty environments. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a dynamic set and contribute creatively to an ambitious project. We are looking for someone with some prior on-set art department experience (mid-level), a strong eye for detail, and a proactive attitude. While specific gear isn't required, any personal tools or a keen ability to find unique items are a bonus. Please provide a brief reel or portfolio of your previous work. Shoot dates are primarily in late October 2026, with some prep starting immediately. Expect a commitment of about 3-4 weeks. This is a volunteer position, but meals will be provided on set, and you will receive a copy of the final film for your reel. Location is New York, NY.
