Camera for Commercial

An independent production is seeking a dedicated and skilled 1st AC to join our small team for an upcoming commercial project. We're producing a visually engaging commercial for a lifestyle brand, focusing on bright, clean aesthetics and natural movement. This piece will be dynamic and require a keen eye for detail. We value collaborative spirits and efficient workflows. Key responsibilities include precise focus pulling, managing camera equipment, preparing and breaking down the camera package, and ensuring smooth camera operation throughout the shoot. You will be working closely with our DP and Camera Operator. We are looking for someone with experience as a 1st AC, ideally on commercial sets, though we are open to all experience levels for the right fit. A strong understanding of various camera systems and lens packages is essential. Please have your own follow focus, monitor, and necessary tools. While we will provide the main camera and lenses, having your own essential kit is a plus. Please share your reel or a list of relevant projects you've worked on. This will be a 1-2 day shoot, currently slated for mid-November 2026, with some prep time needed beforehand. Compensation is deferred (points plus deferred payment) as is common in independent projects. Lunch and craft services will be provided on set.
