Color Grading for Music Video

Dynamic, high-energy hip-hop music video seeking a talented Senior Colorist to bring a vibrant, urban aesthetic to life. We're looking for someone with a strong artistic eye to enhance the visual storytelling and deliver a punchy, polished final look for this independent production. This project features diverse locations and intricate lighting, requiring a nuanced approach to color. Key responsibilities include performing primary and secondary color correction, creating and implementing custom looks, ensuring color consistency across all shots, and delivering final graded footage in specified formats. We expect a deep understanding of color theory, advanced knowledge of DaVinci Resolve (or similar professional software), and a proven ability to work efficiently under a tight schedule. A strong reel showcasing your music video color grading work is essential. This is a remote-friendly position, though local candidates in Los Angeles are welcome. We anticipate approximately 3-4 days of work during the last week of October 2026, possibly extending into early November. We'll provide all necessary project files and a detailed vision. Compensation is $500-800 per day, dependent on experience.
