Commercial Editor, SF Ad Agency

A dynamic commercial project featuring innovative tech and vibrant urban scenes needs an exceptional editor. This fast-paced spot combines slick product shots with real-world applications, aiming for a modern, energetic feel that resonates with a broad, tech-savvy audience. We're looking for someone who can craft a compelling narrative with a punchy pace and a keen eye for visual flow. Your primary responsibility will be assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, adding sound design elements (basic), and collaborating closely with our small production team to refine the final cut. You'll also be responsible for basic color correction to ensure consistency. This role requires someone proactive, with strong storytelling instincts and the ability to work independently while also taking direction. Required experience includes editing commercials or short-form branded content, demonstrated through a strong reel. You should be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and familiar with After Effects for basic motion graphics integration. Access to your own editing suite/workstation is preferred, as this will primarily be a remote position with occasional in-person meetings in San Francisco.
