Director, K-Pop Music Video (Seoul)

Our independent production team is seeking an experienced Director for an upcoming K-Pop music video project. This is a high-energy, visually driven track for a rising female idol, blending modern pop aesthetics with a touch of surrealism. We aim for a vibrant, dynamic piece that showcases both performance and narrative elements. The overall tone is empowering and stylish, with opportunities for creative visual storytelling. Your key responsibilities will include leading the creative vision, collaborating closely with the artist and our VFX Supervisor, directing on set, and overseeing the post-production process to ensure the final product aligns with the artistic goals. We need someone who can translate musical energy into compelling visuals. Candidates should have a strong portfolio demonstrating experience directing professional music videos, ideally with a focus on K-Pop or similar performance-based genres. Familiarity with current music video trends and a keen eye for dynamic cinematography are essential. While we have a camera and lighting package planned, your vision for visual effects integration will be particularly valuable given our VFX lead.
