Editing for Music Video

Seeking an Editor for an upcoming music video project, estimated about 3 weeks of work, TBD negotiable rate structure based on experience and deliverables. We're looking for someone to craft a dynamic, visually engaging narrative for an indie pop-rock track. The song has a high-energy, slightly melancholic vibe, blending vibrant performance footage with some abstract, atmospheric shots. We want to tell a story that complements the music, building intensity and emotion without being overly literal. This project offers a great opportunity for creative freedom and collaboration on an independent production. Key responsibilities include syncing footage, assembling initial cuts, incorporating visual effects (if applicable), color grading, and delivering final versions for various platforms. We need someone who can work efficiently, communicate openly, and bring their own creative vision to the edit. Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is essential. While a strong reel showcasing previous music video or short-form narrative editing is a big plus, we’re open to all experience levels; your talent and potential are what matter most. A reliable internet connection and a editing workstation capable of handling 4K footage are required, as this is a remote-friendly position based in Stockholm, SE. Footage will be provided via cloud storage. Shoot dates were recently wrapped up in late October 2026, so we're ready to start post-production immediately.
