Production for Music Video

Seeking a highly experienced Gaffer to lead lighting for an independent music video production in Atlanta. This project features a high-energy pop track with intricate practical effects and dynamic performance shots. We're looking for someone who can craft visually striking looks under pressure, integrating with our DP and director's vision. You'll be responsible for designing and executing the lighting plan, managing a small crew, and ensuring all equipment is handled safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include collaborating on lighting setups, maintaining equipment, and supervising lighting crew. We need someone with a strong reel demonstrating senior-level gaffing work on music videos, commercials, or narrative projects. You should be familiar with various lighting fixtures and control systems, and capable of quick problem-solving on set. Shoot dates are approximately 1-2 days during the first half of November 2026, with an additional half-day for prep. Expect 10-12 hour days. Production will provide all necessary production insurance, craft services, and crew transportation to and from set. Personal vehicle for gear transport preferred but not required.
