Senior Feature Film Editor, NOLA (Revenue Share)

Seeking a Senior Editor for an independent feature film project, offering a revenue share partnership. We're looking at a commitment of about 3-4 months starting in early November 2026. This is a dramatic thriller, a character-driven story with a gritty, naturalistic tone, focusing on moral dilemmas and psychological tension. We need someone who can craft a compelling narrative, manage pacing expertly, and enhance the emotional impact through precise cuts. Your responsibilities will include assembling rough cuts, refining picture lock, incorporating sound and music elements, and preparing for color and sound finishing. You will need your own professional editing workstation (e.g., Avid Media Composer or Adobe Premiere Pro) and a understanding of modern post-production workflows. Please have at least 5 years of experience as a lead editor on feature films, with a strong portfolio showcasing your dramatic storytelling abilities. We're a small production company, and while this is a partnership opportunity, we are dedicated to bringing this powerful story to life. Post-production will primarily take place in the New Orleans, LA area, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement possible after initial setup.
