VFX for Commercial

An independent production is seeking a talented Senior VFX Artist for an upcoming commercial project, a visually dynamic spot blending live-action with intricate digital elements. The tone is sophisticated and cutting-edge, requiring a keen eye for seamless integration and creative problem-solving. We're looking for someone to lead the visual effects work, specifically focusing on compositing complex CGI elements into practical footage and advanced rotoscoping. Key responsibilities include creating photorealistic effects, motion tracking, cleanup, and ensuring artistic consistency across all shots. You'll be working closely with the director and editor to achieve the desired aesthetic. We expect candidates to have extensive experience with Nuke or Fusion, possess their own workstation and software licenses, and provide a strong, relevant reel showcasing commercial VFX work. This is a crucial role for a small production company aiming for high visual quality. The project involves about 3 weeks of work, starting early November 2026. Compensation is $250/day flat. The majority of the work can be done remotely, with occasional in-person meetings in Los Angeles as needed.
