Cinematography for Corporate Video
Our independent production is seeking a dedicated Camera Operator for an upcoming corporate video project. This project focuses on employee success stories within a dynamic Chicago-based tech company. The tone will be inspiring and authentic, highlighting individual growth and team collaboration through candid interviews and naturalistic b-roll. It's a fantastic opportunity to build your reel with professional corporate content and collaborate with a passionate small team. We need someone who can bring a keen eye for composition and help us capture compelling visual narratives. Key responsibilities include operating our primary camera (we will provide), assisting with shot setup, and ensuring high-quality, stable footage. You will work closely with the director to achieve the desired visual style. We are looking for someone with basic camera operation experience, a good understanding of framing, and an eagerness to learn and contribute. A reel or examples of previous work, even student films or personal projects, would be helpful to see your eye for visuals. We're open to all experience levels, from enthusiastic beginners to seasoned pros. The shoot is tentatively scheduled for 1-2 days in mid-November 2026, with flexible hours during those days. We will provide the camera package (Sony FX6), basic lighting, and sound equipment. This is a volunteer, passion project, so while compensation is not available, you'll gain valuable experience, professional footage for your reel, and a chance to network within the Chicago film community. Lunch and craft services will be provided on set.
