Color Grading for Feature Film

Feature Film Color Grading New Orleans, LA any Budget: Meals + copy

A grounded supernatural drama feature film, exploring themes of grief and second chances in a contemporary New Orleans setting, is seeking a talented Colorist. This independent production offers a unique opportunity to shape the visual tone of a compelling story. Key responsibilities include working closely with the director and cinematographer to establish a cohesive performing color correction, and ensuring final deliverables meet broadcast or festival specifications. We are looking for someone with an artistic eye, strong communication skills, and proficiency with professional color grading software, such as DaVinci Resolve. While specific gear isn't required for this role, access to a calibrated monitoring setup is a must. We are open to all experience levels, from emerging artists to seasoned professionals, as long as you have a strong reel showcasing your work. This is a volunteer position, but meals will be provided during work periods, and you will receive a copy of the final film. We anticipate approximately 2-3 weeks of post-production work, primarily in November 2026, with flexibility for remote work but with opportunities for in-person collaboration in New Orleans, LA, if desired. Exact dates will be solidified soon. This is a great chance to get a feature film credit and collaborate with a passionate crew.
