Senior Colorist, Feature Film

Seeking a talented Senior Colorist to join our independent production, starting as early as late October or early November 2026 for an upcoming feature film. This is a dramatic thriller with a gritty, realistic tone, exploring themes of urban survival and moral ambiguity. Your eye for detail will be crucial in crafting the film's visual identity through nuanced color work, enhancing the suspense and emotional depth of the narrative. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the director and cinematographer to establish and execute the final performing primary and secondary corrections, noise reduction, and ensuring technical specifications for delivery. We're looking for someone with significant feature film experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating their ability to handle complex projects. Please provide a reel or links to your previous work. Experience with DaVinci Resolve is preferred. Remote work is acceptable, but you must have a professional, color-calibrated monitoring setup. The role is paid at $150-300 per day, based on experience and the scope of work. We anticipate approximately 3-4 weeks of work. Location in Brooklyn, NY is a plus for occasional in-person reviews, though not strictly required.
