Production for Commercial

Shooting a small-scale commercial in Toronto, ON, around November 12, 2026 for a 1-2 day shoot, with a prep day or two just before. This is an entry-level opportunity for an upcoming project with an independent production. We're looking for a highly motivated Production Assistant to join our team. The commercial is for a local lifestyle brand, focusing on bright, clean visuals and an uplifting, energetic tone. It's a great chance to get hands-on experience on a professional set and understand the flow of a commercial production. Key responsibilities include assisting all departments (camera, lighting, art), helping with set-up and wrap, running errands, managing craft services, and generally supporting the crew to ensure a smooth operation. We need someone who is proactive, a good communicator, and eager to learn. A valid G-class driver's license and access to a vehicle are a significant plus, as some driving may be required for pickups and returns. Please have a reliable way to get to set locations within the GTA. No specific gear is required, just a positive attitude and strong work ethic. We're not asking for a reel for this role, but previous set experience, even on student or volunteer projects, is an asset. This is a deferred payment opportunity, with points in the project. We will provide some meals and water on set.
