Production for Music Video

We're looking for a senior 1st AC to join our independent production for a dynamic and visually-driven music video. This project features a high-energy pop track with a vibrant, stylized aesthetic, incorporating creative lighting and movement. We need someone who can hit the ground running with precise focus pulling and efficient camera department management from day one. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a fun, fast-paced shoot for an emerging artist. Key responsibilities include maintaining critical focus throughout takes, overseeing lens changes and camera setup, and ensuring all camera equipment is handled professionally and safely. You'll also be responsible for managing and organizing camera department gear on set. Candidates must have extensive experience as a 1st AC on music videos or similar fast-paced narrative projects. A strong understanding of various camera systems (RED, Arri) and wireless follow focus units is essential. Please provide a link to your reel or a list of relevant projects where you served as 1st AC. We anticipate a 1-2 day shoot, likely around December 3, 2026, with flexible but standard 10-12 hour days. Production will provide camera packages and transportation for gear, but you should have your own kit (tools, monitor, focus marks, etc.). Compensation is $150-300 per day depending on experience and kit. This role is based in New York, NY.
