Documentary VFX Bristol, UK entry Budget: Deferred pay

Looking for a Junior VFX Artist for an independent documentary feature exploring niche historical engineering feats in the Bristol area. It's a visually driven project, blending archival footage with present-day interviews and some stylized sequences that require subtle but impactful visual effects work to enhance storytelling and illustrate complex concepts. We need someone who can jump in and help with compositing, clean-up, and potentially some basic 3D tracking or animation as needed. Key responsibilities include rotoscoping, wire removal, screen replacements, and contributing to visual consistency across various elements. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone looking to build their reel on a meaningful project. No specific gear required from you, as we'll be working in a post-production suite. We're looking for someone proficient in After Effects or Nuke, with a strong eye for detail and a willingness to learn. Experience with DaVinci Resolve is a plus. Please share your reel or a portfolio of your work. This is for post-production work, primarily in late October or early November 2026, for about 3 weeks of work, potentially spread out. Compensation is deferred, with a commitment to share profits once the film is acquired and distributed. We're a small, collaborative team, and we'll provide a comfortable workspace and all necessary software.
