Senior Sound Designer, Web Series (Rev Share)

Seeking a Senior Sound Designer for an upcoming web series project, targeting completion in the first half of December 2026 for launch shortly after. This is a partnership opportunity (revenue share) for a talented individual to shape the sonic landscape of our ambitious indie production. We're looking for someone who can elevate the narrative through immersive and creative sound. This particular series is a dark comedy with elements of supernatural thriller, aiming for a stylish, gritty, yet often absurd tone. We need a sound designer who can balance impactful scares with subtle atmospheric work and comedic timing. Key responsibilities include creating and implementing all sound effects (Foley, SFX design), mixing dialogue, music, and effects, and ensuring overall sonic consistency and quality. You'll work closely with the director to realize their vision. Candidates must have a strong reel demonstrating senior-level experience, preferably on narrative projects, and possess their own professional-grade equipment and software for sound design and mixing. While we are based in Brooklyn, NY, this role can be performed remotely. Post-production work is estimated to be about 6-8 weeks, starting in the first half of November 2026. A small production company will provide access to all raw audio files, dialogue tracks, and picture lock edits.
