Sound Design for Pilot

Los Angeles, CA production seeks a talented Sound Designer for an upcoming sci-fi pilot shooting late October 2026. This is a thrilling, character-driven story with elements of mystery and psychological drama, set in a near-future urban landscape. We're looking for someone who can craft an immersive and evocative sonic world, blending sci-fi sound effects with subtle atmospheric design to heighten tension and emotional impact. The pilot is an independent production aiming for a unique visual and auditory signature. Key responsibilities include creating original sound effects, foley, dialogue editing, and mixing. You should have your own professional-grade sound design software and access to a comprehensive sound library. Experience with sci-fi or suspense genres is a plus, and a strong reel demonstrating your creative range is essential. We anticipate about 3-4 weeks of post-production work following the shoot. This is a paid position, offering $300-500/day, depending on experience.
