Color Grading for Feature Film

Feature Film Color Grading New Orleans, LA entry Budget: $300-500/day

Our independent production is seeking an entry-level Colorist for an upcoming dramatic feature film. This project is a character-driven drama set in modern-day New Orleans, exploring themes of resilience and community. We're looking for someone with a sharp eye to help us define the visual tone and bring our story to life with nuanced grading. You'll be working closely with the Director and DP to establish and execute the final look. Key responsibilities include initial color correction, creative grading passes, and delivering final graded files. Applicants should have a solid understanding of color science, experience with professional grading software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve), and a strong portfolio or reel demonstrating their color grading abilities, even if from student or short film projects. While we provide the primary workstation and software, familiarity with standard post-production workflows is a must. The post-production timeline is currently slated for around December 1, 2026, lasting approximately 3-4 weeks. This is a paid position, offering $300-500/day, based in New Orleans, LA.
