Assistant Editor, Pilot (Seoul KR)

Our independent production team is seeking an Assistant Editor to join us for an upcoming pilot project. This will be a grounded sci-fi drama, exploring themes of memory and identity through a slightly surreal lens, with a tone that blends intimacy with a touch of mystery. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and can help us bring this compelling story to life. Key responsibilities include organizing footage, creating dailies, managing proxies, syncing audio, and preparing timelines for the lead editor. You'll also assist with basic cuts and exports as needed. Prior experience with DaVinci Resolve is a must, and we’ll need to see a short reel or work samples showcasing your organizational skills and attention to detail. Please note that this is an in-person role in Seoul. We anticipate about 3 weeks of work, starting early in the second half of October 2026. Hours will be standard business days, with some flexibility. We’ll provide the edit suite and all necessary software. Compensation is 150-300 USD per day, depending on experience.
