Lighting for Corporate Video

Seeking an experienced Gaffer for a corporate video project shooting in New Orleans, LA. This is a partnership opportunity, offering co-producer credit and backend participation for a senior lighting professional. Our upcoming project is a series of polished, dynamic testimonial and brand story videos for an established local business. We're aiming for a clean, professional aesthetic with an emphasis on natural-looking yet impactful lighting that elevates the subject matter. As Gaffer, you'll be responsible for designing and executing the lighting plan, working closely with the Cinematographer to achieve the desired look. Key responsibilities include managing lighting equipment, overseeing the electrics and grip team, ensuring safety protocols are met, and problem-solving on set. We're looking for someone with a strong portfolio in corporate, commercial, or narrative work, demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of lighting techniques for interviews and product shots. Shoot dates are approximate, targeting 10-12 days of work spread across November 2026, with potential prep days prior. Long days are to be expected. You should have access to your own basic lighting package (e.g., small LED kits, stands, stingers), though specialized gear will be rented as needed.
