Production for Documentary

Looking for an enthusiastic Production Assistant in Los Angeles, CA for an independent documentary project. This is an entry-level role, perfect for someone eager to gain hands-on experience on a small but ambitious crew. We are shooting a compelling character-driven documentary focusing on a unique artistic community, aiming for a raw and intimate tone. The main shoot block is planned for late November 2026, lasting approximately 12-15 days, with some potential for additional pickup days into early December 2026. The daily rate is $250 flat. Responsibilities include assisting the crew with set operations, runs, coordinating craft services, managing equipment organization, and general administrative support. We need someone highly organized, proactive, and with a positive attitude. Basic knowledge of production workflows is a plus, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are most important. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and be comfortable driving for production errands. Some prior experience as a set PA or a film school background is preferred.
