Production for Pilot
An independent production is looking for an experienced Script Supervisor to join our dedicated crew for an upcoming pilot episode. This project is a grounded sci-fi drama, exploring themes of connection and artificial intelligence with a focus on intimate character moments within a speculative future. We're crafting a visually distinct world with a subtly tense yet hopeful tone, and we need a keen eye to maintain continuity and support our director's vision. Your key responsibilities will include meticulous logging of takes, detailed continuity notes for dialogue, action, and wardrobe, tracking script changes, and preparing daily production reports. You'll be the ultimate guardian of consistency, working closely with the director, cast, and camera department to ensure every shot aligns with our narrative. We are seeking someone with a strong understanding of script supervision workflows, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude. While specific gear isn't required for this role, proficiency with industry-standard logging software (e.g., Scriptation, Scenechronize) is a plus. Previous experience on set, even in other roles, is valued, but we welcome applicants eager to step into this position if they demonstrate a strong aptitude. Please provide a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience or passion for continuity. Shoot dates are approximately 10-12 days, likely starting around November 12, 2026, with some prep days beforehand. Working hours will be standard 10-12 hour days. Compensation is $150-300 per day, dependent on experience. Meals and on-set refreshments will be provided. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a compelling story and build connections within the Auckland film community.
