1st AC, Dark Sci-Fi Pilot

A dark, gritty sci-fi pilot, blending cyberpunk aesthetics with a tense psychological thriller, needs an experienced 1st AC to help bring its unique vision to life. This independent production explores themes of artificial intelligence and identity, offering a creatively challenging environment for the right candidate. We are seeking a 1st AC for our upcoming project, a single-episode pilot that will be submitted to festivals and used to pitch a full series. You will be responsible for maintaining focus, managing camera equipment, overseeing lens changes, and assisting the DP with setting up shots. Experience with RED cameras is a plus, and a strong understanding of camera workflow is essential. Please provide a reel or a list of relevant past projects. Shoot dates are TBD but will be 1-2 days in November 2026, likely on a weekend, with specific dates arranged to fit crew availability. We are a small, collaborative team, and while this is an unpaid role for now, we will provide meals, travel expenses within London, and a credit.
