Camera for Music Video

We're shooting a vibrant, high-energy pop music video in New York City and seeking a skilled Camera Operator to help bring our vision to life. This project features dynamic choreography and bold visual storytelling, aiming for a polished, professional look despite our independent budget. We need someone who can work quickly and creatively to capture the artist's performance and the narrative beats. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate on an exciting project with a dedicated crew. Your key responsibilities will include operating the main camera, framing shots according to the Director of Photography's instructions, and ensuring technical quality. We need you to have your own camera package suitable for music video work, preferably a mirrorless or DSLR setup capable of 4K recording, along with basic lenses, a tripod, and a monopod. Please send a reel demonstrating your operating skills and visual style. Experience on fast-paced sets is a plus. The shoot is currently scheduled for 2-3 full days during early November 2026. Exact dates are still being finalized but will be communicated well in advance. Hours will be typical production days, approximately 10-12 hours. We will provide craft services and meals on set. This is a paid position, offering $100-200 per day depending on experience and gear provided. We're open to all experience levels, from talented emerging operators to seasoned professionals.
