Cinematography for Feature Film

Seeking an experienced 1st AC for a 4-week commitment starting the second half of November 2026 in New York, NY. This is a paid position, offering $2000-$3000/week for a roughly 40-50 hour work week. We're an independent production embarking on an ambitious character-driven psychological thriller with a noir aesthetic, focusing on visual storytelling and atmosphere. The project offers a compelling script and a chance to contribute significantly to a tight-knit crew. You’ll be responsible for maintaining focus, managing the camera package, and assisting the DP with all technical aspects of cinematography. We're looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience on feature film sets, particularly with high-end digital cinema cameras (Arri Alexa Mini LF, Sony Venice) and prime lenses. You must own your own follow focus system, monitor, and necessary tools. We'll provide the primary camera package, lighting, and grip equipment.
