Gaffer (Senior), PNW Web Series

A coming-of-age dark comedy web series about a group of friends navigating their last year of college in Portland is looking for a skilled Gaffer to join our team. This independent production balances wry humor with genuine emotional depth, aiming for a stylized, slightly surreal aesthetic that will lean heavily on creative lighting. We need someone who can translate our vision for high contrast, atmospheric scenes and dynamic character lighting into reality. You will be responsible for leading our lighting team, executing the DP's vision, and managing all grip and electric equipment on set. This includes planning lighting setups, ensuring safety protocols are met, and problem-solving lighting challenges efficiently. We're seeking a senior-level Gaffer with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse lighting techniques and experience leading a small G&E team. You should ideally have access to a basic G&E package, though we can supplement. Please provide your reel and a brief list of available gear. Prep will be about 2-3 weeks, with principal photography scheduled for about 12 days in early November 2026. This is a partnership opportunity, offering revenue share as compensation for your significant contribution to our ambitious project.
