Cinematography for Web Series

Seeking an experienced Gaffer for a volunteer position (credit + meals provided) for an independent sci-fi web series shooting around November 8, 2026 in Los Angeles. This project is a visually driven, character-focused story with a gritty, near-future aesthetic. We're aiming for a cinematic look with practical lighting effects to enhance the narrative. We need someone who can efficiently execute a lighting plan and has a strong understanding of shaping light to create mood and atmosphere. Key responsibilities include working closely with the DP to achieve desired lighting, managing the lighting crew, and ensuring all electrical equipment is handled safely and effectively. You should have your own basic G&E kit, including flags, stands, and stingers; specialized lighting will be rented. We anticipate a 1-2 day shoot, likely 10-12 hour days. Please share your reel or a portfolio of your lighting work. Submit applications by November 1, 2026.
