Commercial Director, Lifestyle Brand

A lighthearted commercial for an Atlanta-based lifestyle brand needs a fresh perspective to bring its vision to life. We're seeking an entry-level Director for an independent production, focusing on capturing authentic moments of joy and connection for a product launch. This project has a positive, upbeat tone, and we're excited to see your unique creative approach. Key responsibilities include working closely with the producer to develop and refine the visual storytelling, directing talent on set (both professional actors and real people), overseeing shot lists, and ensuring the commercial aligns with the brand's message. You'll be instrumental in shaping the look and feel of the final spot, from pre-production through the shoot. Ideal candidates will have some prior experience directing short-form narrative or commercial content, ideally with a reel demonstrating your ability to evoke emotion and tell a concise story. While we're providing core production equipment, familiarity with industry-standard cameras (e.g., Blackmagic, Sony FX series) and lighting techniques is a plus. Your personal gear isn't required, but please highlight any you own. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for a 1-2 day period in the first half of November 2026. This will be a standard 10-hour day with a provided meal. We're offering a flat rate of $100-200 per day for your time and expertise. This is a great opportunity to gain commercial directing experience on a paid project with a supportive team.
