Music Video Director, Dublin - Deferred Pay

We're seeking a creative Music Video Director for an indie pop track with a psychedelic, dreamlike vibe. The song features lush synths and a soaring female vocal, and we envision visuals that are ethereal, vibrant, and emotionally resonant, perhaps exploring themes of escapism or nostalgic yearning. This is a unique opportunity to shape the visual narrative of a genuinely captivating piece of music from an emerging independent artist. The project offers significant creative freedom to a director who can bring an innovative vision. Key responsibilities include developing a compelling treatment, storyboarding, directing on set, and overseeing the edit to ensure the final product aligns with the artistic vision. We need someone who can translate complex emotions into captivating imagery and work effectively with a small crew. We're open to all experience levels, but a strong reel showcasing your visual style and storytelling ability is essential. You should be comfortable leading a set and communicating your vision clearly. While we can provide some basic camera and lighting equipment, having access to additional gear or resources would be a plus. Shoot dates are TBD but will likely be a 1-2 day shoot in November 2026, primarily in and around Dublin. This is a deferred payment opportunity, offering a backend percentage once the video is monetized. We're aiming to make a decision by October 31, 2026, so please get your applications in soon.
