Entry Director (Commercial) - Partnership Equity

We're launching a visually striking commercial for an independent client, a project with a vibrant, energetic tone that will blend compelling storytelling with dynamic visuals. This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level director to truly make their mark on an upcoming project for an exciting brand. We need a director who can bring a fresh perspective and a strong visual style to the table. As the Director, you will be responsible for translating the creative vision into on-screen reality. This includes working closely with the client and crew, overseeing pre-production (storyboarding, shot listing, casting), directing on set, and collaborating through post-production. Key responsibilities also involve ensuring the commercial aligns with the brand's message while maintaining an engaging aesthetic. We expect 1-2 days of shooting, with prep and post adding up to about 3 weeks of work total, starting mid November 2026. While experience is entry-level, a strong reel demonstrating your directorial potential, visual flair, and storytelling ability is crucial. You should be based in or able to work in New York, NY, for the shoot. We're looking for someone with an enthusiastic attitude, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. This is a partnership opportunity offering equity in the project, ideal for someone eager to build their portfolio and gain significant experience.
