DP for Indie Drama Pilot, Nashville

Seeking a Director of Photography for an independent drama pilot shooting in Nashville, TN. This project explores themes of resilience and second chances within a small-town music scene, offering a compelling narrative that blends grounded realism with hopeful aspiration. We're looking for someone who can bring a visually rich, intimate, and emotionally resonant style to our story. Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with the director on visual storytelling, establishing the look of the series, managing camera and lighting crews, and ensuring technical excellence. We anticipate around a 3-4 day shoot for the pilot, with prep beginning around October 21, 2026 and principal photography around November 8, 2026. This is a partnership opportunity offering equity in the project, intended to grow with the series. Applicants should have access to a camera package suitable for narrative work (e.g., Blackmagic, Sony, Canon C-series, or similar), a basic lighting kit, and demonstrate a strong cinematic eye through a current reel or portfolio. While experience is a plus, we are open to working with passionate DPs at any stage of their career.
