VFX Artist, Music Video, Detroit

Seeking a talented VFX Artist for an energetic hip-hop music video featuring elaborate set extensions and abstract visual effects. This is a high-concept project, blending practical cinematography with dynamic digital elements to create a surreal, dream-like atmosphere for an independent artist. We're looking for someone creative, ready to push boundaries, and eager to contribute significantly to the visual storytelling. Your main responsibilities will include 3D tracking, compositing, rotoscoping, green screen keying, and integrating CGI elements into live-action footage. You'll work closely with the director and editor to achieve the desired aesthetic. Some concepting and look development may also be involved. We require applicants to have their own VFX workstation and relevant software (e.g., After Effects, Nuke, Blender, Maya, Houdini). Please submit a link to your reel showcasing your best work. While experience is a plus, we are open to artists at any stage of their career if your reel demonstrates strong potential and a good eye for detail. The bulk of the VFX work is anticipated for the first half of November 2026, with flexible hours. This is a paid position, offering $1000-1500 per day depending on experience and scope. The shoot is set in Detroit, MI.
