VFX Artist, Web Series (Entry) - Brooklyn

We need a passionate VFX Artist to join our independent web series project starting pre-production in November 2026. This is an exciting, character-driven horror series with surreal elements, set in modern-day Brooklyn, aiming for a distinct, atmospheric visual style. We're looking for someone creative who can help bring our more fantastical sequences to life. Key responsibilities include creating and compositing visual effects shots, rotoscoping, motion tracking, and working closely with the director and editor to integrate effects . This is an entry-level position perfect for someone looking to build their reel and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates will have a basic understanding of VFX software like Adobe After Effects, Nuke, or DaVinci Resolve Fusion, and be eager to learn. Please include a link to your reel or any relevant portfolio work. This is a volunteer, passion project. While the core shoot is brief, the VFX work will primarily be remote during post-production in November and December 2026, with an estimated commitment of about 3-4 weeks total, flexible hours. We provide project assets, clear creative direction, and a fantastic opportunity to contribute significantly to a compelling story.
