VFX Artist, Music Video (LA)

An independent production is seeking a talented Mid-Level VFX Artist to join our team for an exciting music video project. We're looking for someone creative who can bring a unique visual style to our upcoming music video, which blends surreal elements with high-energy performance. The tone is vibrant and dynamic, offering a great canvas for imaginative visual effects. You'll be crucial in enhancing key performance sequences and integrating otherworldly elements into various shots. Key responsibilities include rotoscoping, compositing, motion tracking, and creating stylized effects. Experience with industry-standard software (After Effects, Nuke, Blender) is essential, and a strong reel demonstrating your compositing and creative VFX skills is a must. You don't need to provide your own gear, we'll have a workstation set up. This is a freelance position with an estimated 3 weeks of work in October 2026, primarily remote but with occasional in-person meetings in Los Angeles as needed. Compensation is $200-400/day, commensurate with experience. We're a small, collaborative team, and we're excited to see what you can bring to the project.
