Gaffer for Supernatural Web Series, Sydney

Our upcoming supernatural mystery web series needs a Gaffer for a 1-2 day shoot in Sydney. This is an independent production with a cool, moody aesthetic, focusing on an ancient artifact causing strange phenomena in modern-day Australia. We're looking for someone creative who can help bring our vision to life with atmospheric lighting. Your key responsibility will be executing the lighting plan devised by the Director of Photography, managing the lighting equipment, and ensuring safety on set. We're open to all experience levels, from passionate emerging Gaffers to seasoned pros looking for an interesting project. We just ask that you have a solid understanding of lighting principles and, ideally, a reel or examples of your work. You'll need to bring your own basic gaffing kit, but we will provide specialized lighting fixtures and expendables. Shoot dates are TBD but will be within November 2026, likely weekend days. We'll be working 10-hour days including meal breaks. Compensation is $100-200/day, depending on experience.
