Lighting for Commercial

Our upcoming commercial project, a stylish, fast-paced piece for a national beverage brand, needs an entry-level Gaffer. It's a high-energy shoot with some cool practical lighting elements and a bit of a retro-modern vibe, offering a great chance to build your reel on a paid independent production. You'll work directly with the Cinematographer and myself (the Key Grip) to execute the lighting plan, manage power, and ensure all lighting equipment is set up safely and efficiently. We're looking for someone eager to learn, follow directions, and contribute positively to a small, focused crew. You'll assist with all aspects of setting up and striking lights, managing cables, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. While we have a lighting package, having your own basic toolkit (gloves, C-wrench, multi-tool) is a plus. Experience assisting on sets, even student films, is helpful. This is a 2-day shoot, currently scheduled for mid November 2026. Hours will be approximately 10-12 per day. Meals, water, and craft services will be provided on set.
