Gaffer (Music Video, Miami)

Seeking an enthusiastic Gaffer for an upcoming independent music video shoot in Miami, FL. We need someone who can hit the ground running with practical lighting solutions to enhance our vibrant, high-energy visuals. This project features a unique blend of urban street style and surreal elements, requiring creative and adaptable lighting. We are aiming for a visually dynamic and impactful aesthetic to complement the artist's cutting-edge sound. You'll be responsible for executing the lighting design, managing the lighting equipment, and ensuring safe and efficient power distribution. We're looking for someone with entry-level experience on set, ideally with music video or short film credits. Must have access to your own basic lighting kit (LEDs, stands, modifiers, stingers) suitable for small-scale independent work, or be able to secure one. A strong reel or portfolio showcasing your lighting work is essential. Shoot dates are approximately 1-2 days in October 2026, with flexible scheduling to accommodate crew availability. We anticipate 10-12 hour days. This is a partnership opportunity, offering a Co-producer credit and backend participation, perfect for someone looking to build their resume and collaborate on an exciting project.
