Art Assistant (Web Series) - Vancouver

Seeking an Art Assistant for an upcoming independent web series shooting in Vancouver, BC. This is a TBD compensation opportunity for approximately 3 weeks of work in November 2026. This character-driven sci-fi drama explores themes of memory and identity in a near-future setting, blending grounded realism with subtle fantastical elements. We are aiming for a visually rich, atmospheric feel, and your contribution to the aesthetic will be crucial. Key responsibilities include assisting the Art Director with prop sourcing, set dressing, fabrication, and organization. You'll be helping to bring our world to life on a practical level, ensuring sets are dressed according to vision and props are tracked. This will involve hands-on work, often requiring creative problem-solving and attention to detail. We are open to all experience levels, from enthusiastic newcomers to seasoned pros looking for a creative outlet. While no specific gear is required, familiarity with basic art department tools and processes is a plus. If you have a portfolio or examples of previous creative work (even personal projects), please include them. We value passion and a collaborative spirit above all. Shoot days will be full, likely 10-12 hours, with some prep days leading up to the main production block. Transportation to set locations will be discussed and potentially provided depending on location.
