Art Director, Pilot (Miami)

Filming in Miami, FL around November 1, 2026, for a 3-day pilot shoot. We're an independent production seeking a skilled Art Director for a dark comedy pilot. The story follows a struggling influencer who discovers a bizarre secret in their new apartment, blending satirical humor with an unsettling, slightly surreal atmosphere. We need someone to help define the visual world of this unique story. You will be responsible for translating the director's vision into tangible set dressings, props, and overall aesthetic. Key responsibilities include designing and overseeing the creation of practical sets and props, sourcing and managing art department rentals, and supervising a small art department team on set. Applicants must have senior-level experience in art direction for narrative film or television, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work creatively within budget constraints. We are looking for someone with a portfolio showcasing their design work and a solid understanding of practical filmmaking logistics. Please include a link to your reel or portfolio with your application. This is a paid position, offering $200-400 per day for approximately 5-7 days of prep and 3 days of shooting. We will provide some tools, materials, and a small art department budget.
