Production Designer, Sci-Fi Web Series (Toronto)

We're shooting an independent sci-fi web series in Toronto, ON, with principal photography scheduled for December 2026. This is a thrilling, character-driven story with a grounded, gritty aesthetic, exploring themes of memory and identity in a near-future setting. We’re looking for a talented Production Designer to join our team for approximately 3 weeks of work, encompassing prep and shoot days, with flexibility for some remote prep. This is a great opportunity to bring a unique vision to life on a compelling project. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the director on the visual style, designing and sourcing set pieces, props, and costumes, and managing the art department budget. We're open to all experience levels, from emerging artists to seasoned professionals, as long as you have a strong portfolio that demonstrates your creative vision and practical skills. Please be prepared to provide examples of your previous work (a reel or portfolio website is ideal). We'll provide a comfortable set environment, catering on shoot days, and all necessary materials for your designs. The compensation for this role is $2000-3000/week, depending on experience.
