Senior Art Director (Corporate Video) Chicago

Bringing a visionary concept to life for a leading tech brand's product launch. We're seeking a Senior Art Director to join our independent production for an upcoming corporate video. This project is a dynamic, high-energy piece blending live-action with motion graphics to create a sleek, aspirational feel. We need someone with a keen eye for modern aesthetics and practical set design. Your key responsibilities will include translating storyboards and creative briefs into tangible set elements, overseeing prop selection and dressing, and collaborating closely with the DP and director to ensure visual consistency. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership within the art department. You should have 5+ years of experience in art direction for corporate, commercial, or narrative projects, a strong portfolio or reel showcasing your design capabilities, and a deep understanding of practical set builds and on-set art execution. While we'll provide the core art budget, experience sourcing materials efficiently is a plus. Prep work is estimated at about 3 weeks, leading into a 2-day shoot tentatively scheduled for the second half of November 2026. This is a paid position, offering $2000-3000/week, depending on experience. We're looking for someone based in Chicago, IL, who can hit the ground running with a small, dedicated team.
