Art Department for Short Film

Looking for an experienced Art Coordinator for an independent sci-fi short film shooting in Los Angeles, CA. The shoot dates are approximately 5-7 days in mid October 2026, with prep starting the first week of October 2026. This project is a visually ambitious, character-driven sci-fi thriller exploring themes of memory and reality, with a cool, minimalist aesthetic. It's a fantastic opportunity to collaborate on a compelling story with a talented team. As Art Coordinator, you'll be crucial in organizing and executing the art department's vision. Key responsibilities include managing budgets and petty cash, sourcing props and set dressing, coordinating rentals and returns, and assisting with set decoration and strike. You'll work closely with the Production Designer to ensure all creative needs are met efficiently. We're seeking a senior-level professional with a proven track record in film art department coordination. You should have excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of film production logistics, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
