Locations Manager (Pilot, LA)

Seeking an experienced Locations Manager for an upcoming pilot filming the first half of November 2026, offering co-producer credit and backend participation. This dramatic, character-driven pilot explores themes of resilience and consequence within a grounded, contemporary setting. It's an independent production with a compelling script, looking for someone passionate to help bring its vision to life. You'll be instrumental in scouting, securing, and managing all filming locations across Los Angeles. Key responsibilities include identifying diverse indoor and outdoor settings that match the script's aesthetic, negotiating access and permits, coordinating with property owners, and ensuring location readiness on shoot days. We're looking for someone with a strong portfolio of successfully managed locations for similar independent projects, a deep understanding of LA permitting processes, and excellent negotiation skills. While gear isn't required for this role, reliable transportation and a current driver's license are essential. We anticipate about 3 weeks of work, including prep and a 5-day shoot.
